As Captain Drake says, "There are fast ships, and there are slow ships, and there are ships upon the sea. But the best ships, are friendships, and may they always be."
Bright blessings to all for a wonderful, healthy, and happy 2009 from Capt'n. Black's Sea Dogges.

Capt'n. Black's Sea Dogges are back at Borders in Springfield Saturday, December 20 at 8 p.m. Last time they played there, Borders sold out of coffee. Guess that's what happens when you can't get grog or ale!!!
Wow...if you missed the inaugural Heartland Renaissance Festival, you missed an awesome weekend. Not only were Capt'n. Black's Sea Dogges in fine voice, but performances from Queen's Gambit, the Pickled Brothers Sideshow, the Lord Mayor's Company, and Cut, Thrust, and Run (along with Seymour, Cerridwyn, and others I know I'm forgetting at the moment) made this weekend truly special.
A hearty HUZZAH to all who participated in the first Faire a la Carte event. And special contratu;ations to the owners of FalC, Susi and Becky, for an absolutely fabulous event!
The band had a wonderful time out at Le Cave Vineyards in Billings, MO. Thanx to Larry and Beth White, owners and operators of Le Cave, for their hospitality to a group of rambling pirates...ahem..,privateers. It was great to see old friends and meet new ones. I flew in from Arizona and surprised my husband. He didn't think I was going to make it to the gig, so that was terrific fun.

Capt'n. Black's Sea Dogges have released their first CD, and it is available on CDBaby at the following website: http://cdbaby.com/cd/cbseadogges
We are so excited. Our second sale came from someone in Sweden. How cool is that? Capt'n. Black's Sea Dogges are now "international recording artists."
